A collaboration with the Thames Festival Trust,  Rivers of the World involves pupils from 6 schools in the borough of Greenwich and 6 schools from Accra, Ghana. The RMG was hosting this year’s selection of work as a temporary display on the main centre upper deck of the National Maritime Museum. Low budget and sustainability were at the foreground of the design approach. The display was made out of an existing modular system from Museum stock which was adapted for this particular display. The graphics were all printed on lightweight and recyclable material. Mechanical fixings were used where possible instead of using glue. The fabrication and setting out were all done with the in-house fabricators’ team.
