How I work

PROCESS

I invest a lot of time researching the history and the narrative of the subject to understand and get a connection with the space, the objects and their stories. At the early stage of a project I will develop a  concept through sketching, making models and story boards. I always  follow the RIBA plan of work, working  from concept all the way to the final stage of installing objects.

COLLABORATION

It is key to my approach to collaborate with a wide range of high skilled people from   Interpretation and Curatorial teams,  Graphic Designers, Lighting Designers, Architects , AV and Digital Designers, mount makers and Conservators. I work in tandem with Project Managers, CDM coordinators and QS,  ensuring  projects stay within time and budget. At the final stage of a project I work  closely with contractors making sure the quality of the finished build and product is at its highest quality. And finally I highly enjoy being hands on during objects installation.

VISITOR’S EXPERIENCE

The main goal is always to make sure the space is designed to reflect the story in the best possible way, creating an inclusive, accessible, safe and engaging experience for visitors to learn and get inspired.
