This exhibition explored the life, work and lasting impact of John Lockwood Kipling (1837 – 1911), an artist, writer, museum director, teacher,  conservationist and influential figure in the Arts and Crafts movement. The exhibition design was based on the streets of Bombay, Lahore and London, creating layers and giving a sense of mixed identities using colours, vistas, large projections and a dense layout of objects.
