A major exhibition, developed by the Canadian Museum of History, explored the mysterious fate of Sir John Franklin and his crew on their final expedition – a mystery that still remains unsolved today. Showcased for the first time, artefacts recovered from the recently rediscovered wrecks of the two ships, the exhibition was showcasing over 200 objects which took the visitors on a journey from the beginning of their preparations to the discovery of the wrecks.
